WE DID IT!!!
What an amazing adventure we all had climbing to the top of Africa and raising an amazing amount of money so far!! I will keep this post quick because we will be putting up a diary with lots of pictures once we have filtered through the HUNDREDS that we have!!
We wanted to say a massive thankyou to everybody that has supported us whether it be with donations, kit or words of wisdom and support. It was one of the toughest things we all have ever done and I don't think we could have had such a great time without every single one of our team. We will still be raising money for Scotty's Little Soldiers until December as we have a couple more events coming up, which we will keep you all posted on. So please keep checking back at our page, more posts coming up in the next few days of our time climbing Mt Kilimanjaro. The good the bad and the very funny times!! NOT to be missed!!
The money that we have raised so far is going to help make a huge difference to the children of Scotty's so keep on digging and we can make an even bigger difference!

Keep calm and LETS ZUMBA!!
Yesterday we had a Zumba session to raise more money for Scotty's. Good turnout and we raised in the region of £300!!!

Last night...
Amazing and very inspirational evening last night listening to Guy Homan and Dr Malcolm Russell MBE, relay their very extraordinary story of Everest by the West Ridge, a British Army Expedition in 2006. Thankyou so much, we were all enthralled.
This treacherous expedition was made into a documentary called Man V Mountain, which you can buy on DVD. Its certainly worth a watch!
Also thank you for letting us be a part of it, we raised a lot of money last night for Scottys, thanks to everybody that came! I'll get back to you with the actual figure...but remember everything we made will be matched pound for pound by Pelican. Its really going to make a big difference.

Date for the Diary!!
Hello Everyone. Please have a read and pen it in the diary!
The talk is the story of the British Army Expedition to climb Mount Everest by the West Ridge in 2006. At the time this route had only been climbed by around 20 people and no one from the UK had summited by this It was a high profile expedition which was used as a recruiting tool for the Army. It was made into a documentary for Sky Bravo - Man versus Mountain.

...for travelling all the way down to us and setting up a professional photoshoot! And thankyou to www.ptpimages.co.uk for taking our photos. Followed by another great, a little cheeky at times, walk in the Brecon Beacons. This was the FIRST time all of us were walking together and to top it off the sun was shining. Perfect!

We also would like to take a bit of time to say thankyou again to everybody who has supported us, sponsored us and donated.
It feels like a long time ago that this thought was just that. We have come such a long way since then and that is thanks to you guys. We don't have much time left, just a few short months!
Although this is a challenge that we are so excited to be doing, a real once in a lifetime! Especially with the company of each other! The reason behind it all is to be able to give to the children of Scottys Little Soldiers. A charity that is primarily to put smiles back on the faces of little ones. As everybody who follows us will know, Scotty's Little Soldiers is close to all our hearts and we really do appreciate everyone that has helped us get to this point so far! Donations are looking healthy!

Lots happening!!
Where to begin!!!....
Firstly one of our army wives hosted a cake sale at a local school raising an OUTSTANDING £500.60!!
Thankyou to everyone who helped us to raise this and thankyou to Divine Bakes who made this fabulous Kilimanjaro Cake for us!! Brilliant!
Secondly, Kit news! It's fair to say since we began this journey we have all become a bit of a kit pest! So when we heard from Level Peaks based in Hereford that they wanted us to wear their own NFTO
clothing we were over the moon!
NFTO clothing are ahead of the rest with the materials they use for outdoor apparel AND it looks good.
Humbled that they are helping us massively on our way! Here's a few pics at our fitting!
